About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Write on, reflect upon and illustrate anything and everything that comes across in my path.
ABOUT ME
I always fill my backpack with books, pencils and paper: the rest comes later. I love meeting different people and had the chance to spend two years in an international school in Hong Kong sharing room, classes, life, with wonderful people from all around the globe. It was a sort of diversity bootcamp. Right now I'm taking a semester off from college and working as au-pair in Heidelberg, Germany; giving sometime to German Romanticism, learning the language, Frankfurt School and the practice of interpretative vigilance!
PHILOSOPHY
Obviously, we should be questioning the habit, the commonsensical, the obvious.
Thought understanding itself at the root of its own history.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I'm working as an au-pair (till Jan 2015), so I'm unable to host anyone, however, as soon as I'm back in my college town, Portland; I'll be more than happy to host anyone in my humble (and shared with a couple of people) home. :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
For the last three years, I've been constantly sharing room with different people (up to 4). For me, the ultimate couch-surfing experience was sharing four couch-cushions that two friends and I lied down in a basement floor surrounded with our books and paints, which was our only furniture and home for a full month. Sharing floor and cushions really taught me that one learns to feel home in the least expected places.

Music, Movies, and Books
"The French Revolution, Fitche's philosophy and Goethe's Wilhelm Meister are the greatest tendencies of the age." (Schlegel)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming in a Hong Kong island and midnight with friends and see our bodies shining with plancton.
Drove in a van with four friends to the Columbia Gorge blasting "Like a Rolling Stone" while seriously discussing what we thought nature was.
Spent 48 hours in Moscow Airport reading Cortazar's Rayuela (Hopscotch), while drinking coffee and eaves-dropping conversations.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love languages and I could teach Spanish and English at any level, and beggining French. A bit of theatre. Anything regarding literature. Exchanging writing (prose, poems, drama, anything (-: ) Can share some drawing fun exercises. Photography. Tango-ing. Opinions. Chess.
