I'm a 5th year medical student from Berlin, Germany. I'm living here for about nine years now, though I was growing up in the north of Germany at the beautiful baltic sea.
As a medical student in Germany we have to absolve all together four months of electives where ever we want. I'm very keen in getting to know other health care systems and combining my electives with traveling. Because of that I have already lived in Ghana and Chile for a couple of weeks while working in a local hospital.
Besides traveling and my studies I really love books and also art! I enjoy writing as well and I do a lot of sports e.g. Bouldering, Running and Swimming.
In Berlin I'm the vice president of ESN Berlin (Erasmus student network). We plan events for the local Erasmus students, help them with their studies and connect with other Erasmus initiatives all over Europe.
As you may have seen I'm super engaged in learning as many languages as possible and am super looking forward to meet people to speak in a other language!

As I go traveling alone a lot I'm always keen to meet other travelers and to connect to go for adventures. I want to get in touch with people who have the same need to explore new things and to see the world while hiking, surfing, hitchhiking, diving etc.

I have too many favorite books.. but I can subcategorize them a little: Frankenstein and How to kill a mockingbird, Brave new world and The Handmaids Tale, Conversation with Friends, the Rivers of London Series, all the books by Sebastian Fitzek and Robert Seethaler.

I'm a Harry Potter Fan, I have to admit. I also like GOT.

About music.. as I'm from Berlin (it doesn't not always have to be that way) I love Techno. But mostly for dancing and background noise. To actively listen to music I prefer German bands like Bilderbuch and Von Wegen Lisbeth as well as Mumford and Sons.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was living in Ghana for some weeks and had the best time ever. At first I met some travelers in a very nice hostel in Accra and we spent the first days together, going to a local festival and to the markets. Afterwards I lived in a small village called Nsawam and had to care for myself. I worked in the local hospital for four weeks. After that time I felt so appreciated by all the villagers. It was like I was part of their community, which I will never forget.
