Music, Movies, and Books

music: i love to listen to local music from the country i’m traveling to! for the vibes i listen to indie, rock, reggae or 80s, and to party i love techno (preferably hard and dark, but i also like early hardcore and psytrance/hitech!)
in general i’m very open to new music, it’s great to broaden your horizons :)

books: one of my favorite books (very cliche but so good): the alchemist by paulo coelho! shantaram was also captivating and it was funny to visit the venues mentioned in the book in mumbai (tbh it was disappointing 😂). besides that i mostly read thrillers (one of my favorites is blackout by marc elsberg) or political/feminist books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hiking in the himalayas in nepal; getting blessed by the dalai lama in india; experiencing the magic of the burning ghats in varanasi and the hospitality of bangladeshis; interrailing through italy; finding an underground rave in oslo; sleeping in a van right next to the ocean; seeing the milky way on a camping site in france; experiencing the most beautiful sunset looking down on barcelona; roadtripping morocco - there are so many small moments that turn into great experiences :)

i love to cook together and would love to exchange knowledge about delicious recipes! i can offer a nice chat about god, humanity and the universe, laugh about everything, teach some german if interested or doing yoga together :)
