Hi everyone, my name is Carolin, I am 28 years old and from the beautiful town of Düsseldorf, Germany.
I have always loved to travel, starting in Grade 11. Back then I spent half a year at a high school in Canada in a small town right at Lake Ontario. I was lucky to live with an amazing family and to share their everyday life.
During university I have been in Mexico for one semester, where I worked on my Spanish skills.
I belive that travelling really is the only thing you pay for that makes you richer :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It was in Mexico when I had first used couch surfing. After the semester I travelled through Mexico together with a friend and via couch surfing we met a lot of kind, helpful and interesting people.
Now I am travelling through South America for another half year and am looking forward to meeting more locals and get to know their culture and way of living.
