I think that Couchsurfing is an amazing way to get "the real experience" while visiting a place. I think that being able to know local people or living with them is an awesome and unique way to get a different perspective of the place you're visiting.

I listen to music all the time. My favourite bands are Arctic Monkeys (and everything Alex Turner touches), Beach House, White Stripes, Warpaint, The War on Drugs, The Libertines, The XX, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Joy Division...
I don't read that frequently but some of my favourite books are 'Just Kids' by Patti Smith and 'The Catcher in the Rye' by J.D. Salinger.
