-got stranded in the small town of Marfa, TX (2,000 people) on New Year's Eve after hitting a jackrabbit with the car and ended up running into a friend and meeting my favorite artist (Lomelda) by coincidence in a book store in the middle of the desert later that day

-organized and booked a benefit festival for a local organization that provides support services for the sexually abused, raised over $1,300 in our small town
