About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Explore the world with our backpacks. Meet new people. Discover new places from the eyes of locals, with the aim of a more authentic cultural experience. Discover ourselves. And the most important is to show our moms (who watch too much tv) that the world is amazing, with good people and that hitchhiking is not dangerous. On the contrary each car is a new story to share.

ABOUT US

Caro: I'm originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I traveled alone for 4 years with my backpack and tent. First I backpacked different countries of Europe, then I did the Working Holiday Programme in France and Germany, where I worked and travelled through each country. I then travelled to Australia and New Zealand where I met John <3
To be honest, I fell in love with travelling life, to have the essential stuff of life on my back and go to places, cities, countries to put an end to my own fears, prejudices, and the limitations that surround me, by learning, experiencing and trying to understand other people's culture.
The most important aspect of travel to me is not the destination, it is the people you experience it with. I enjoy outdoor activities, sharing stories, cooking and discover amazing landscapes.

John: I'm from Timaru, New Zealand. For the last 2 years I have been travelling the South Island of my home country, living in my van, and doing all kinds of seasonal work. I especially like to work on vineyards, learning the different aspects of the winemaking process, and it is also where I met Caro, the best of travelling companions. My dream is not so far from what Caro has said above. My travels have so far been limited to my home country, as well as spending a year in Perth, Australia. I'm now ready to put on my backpack, go further abroad, meet new people and experience their reality and way of life in order to gain a wider knowledge of this amazing world, and maybe get a little wiser on the way!

We are simple people that with hard work and a lot of passion made a lifestyle of travelling. We want to see the world through our own eyes, and discover the less touristed spots on earth.
