Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Carolina, I'm from Medellin Colombia. I am a very outgoing person who is passionate about languages, and enjoy meeting people and getting to know their experiences. Like so many people here (to not say everyone) I LOVE TO TRAVEL, thinking about a new destination gives me goosebumps, and I can't help to start reading tons of blogs, watching videos, searching for flights and picture a basic list of places to visit. I might not be the most adventurous, fearless, uncomplicated traveler, but I'm willing to learn and overcome the mental barriers and enjoy in the little things the greatness of life.
...
I also love cats.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is pop, but in general I listen about everything from Rock to Salsa, this last one is my go to on the dancefloor! I really love dancing salsa, bachata and all kinds of latin rythms.
My favorite movie is Koizora, a japanese movie that made me cried at 2 am when I was in an 'I don't cry for anything' phase when I was about 15 years old, so it might not be the greatest movie of all time, and it might have a pretty average plot, but it really got me back then and still does.
I really don't have a favorite book, but right now I've been into short poems compilations.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Since I was a little girl the ocean has fascinated me, so in 2015 I decided to go abroad and learn about oceanography for a whole semester in Chile. It was one of the greatest adventures I've ever had, bacuase not only I studied what I wanted but I also experienced Snow for the first time, I also visit the desert and fell inlove with the most beautiful landscapes that I've seen (so far). After my time in Chile, when I came back to Colombia I started to practice Capoeira, and that is also one of the most amazing things that has happened to me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share positives vibes, some pretty funny and dramatic stories that have happened to me, like how I fell from a bike and had to get surgery while being an exchange student in Chile, my dream places, a deliciuos cup of coffee, a big smile, and even some Colombian candies.
