Hi everyone, welcome to our profiel!

I am Carolina, a 27 year old Argentinian. I love all things nature and personal growth. I want/try to live a peaceful life in close touch with the rythms of nature and in tune with my personal intuition. I enjoy having deep conversations so I look forward to meet anyone willing to sit and chat for a while :). You can usually find me doing yoga, acroyoga, reading a good book or cooking something yummy.

And I am Martín! a 27-year-old guy born and raised in Spain. I really like technology, geopolitics, history, and deep conversations from which you can learn. I love mountains, green landscapes, camping, aviation and travelling. My dream is to have a house with a garden where I can grow my own food (ideally in Hawaii). You can find me programming or watching videos on YouTube about what's going on in the world right now.

We meet a bit over 2 years ago in a train station and experienced what I (Carolina) could best describe as love at first sight. We have been together ever since and this trip is one of the dreams we have to live together as a couple. We both quit our jobs and now we are travelling to find what else life is holding for us. We are always eager to continue learning and growing in life - that is one of the things that bring us together :)

In this trip, we will mainly be doing Workaway experiences in remote countryside locations, but we will be visiting also some cities and more populated areas, and that is where couchsurfing comes into the picture :) We are, of course, interested in visiting the nice places in the cities, but mostly we want to really learn about life there and the people. We are mostly interested in the connection to the people and places rather than checking things off a list!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is a great way to meet amazing people we wouldn't meet otherwise and visiting places we would not go. We both love learning about new cultures and just sharing, what we have in common and what we don't. We both come from different cultures so that kind of exchange is really interesting for us. When traveling, we have found that it is the best way to get to know a place! I have found so much hospitality, and that makes me super grateful!

I (Caro) have used couchsurfing before. Martin will be the first time using it and I am sure we will have great experiences! It is completely different from travelling without knowing anyone and staying in a hotel. While we dont need to be "entretained" by our host, we do enjoy sharing some time together if it is possible.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can definitely help you with Spanish if that is something you are interested in :) We are also (intermediate) bachata dancers, so we teach you a bit of that if it is interesting for you :)

Mostly, we are interested in sharing a good time with our hosts and learning about how they live in the place we are visiting!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can definitely cook for you some traditional Argentinian and/or Spanish plates. We also really enjoy having interesting converstions about life, geopolitics, how mind and body work together, our cultures, love and whatever comes up :)

If we stay with you, of course we would do our share of household chores such as cooking, cleaning up the kitchen, leaving our sleeping place as we found it, etc.
