Hi everyone!! :) I'm a positive , cheerful person that enjoys meeting new people, this way I never forget how lovely and full of differences the world is. I grew up in a little eco-village in Toscana, Italy with other 14 families, each in our own house. We are like a big family of different cultures. I try to travel in respect of nature and our earth, I’m trying to go as much as possible plastic free.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love traveling but not touristy traveling, I always prefer going to places and entering houses of people that live in the place/city to learn about new cultures and ways of living. This is one of my passions because I grew up with 3 different cultures as my mum is English, my father is German but I was born and I grew up in Italy.

Interests

I love animals and in particular I love horses, I've been riding since I was 5 years old so I respect then an awful lot!! I'm really into cooking, specially healthy food. I like sports a lot and always being active.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, it's difficult to pick one particular thing, but something I'm very glad I did is to take a gap year between high school and university! I spent the beginning of the year working as a waitress near home and then in January I left for Mexico with the money I had saved up. I spent 3 months in Coatepec, Xalapa in the state of Veracruz working in a biodynamic ranch. They mostly produce coffee but they also have a very big vegetable garden and have goats and horses. I worked in all areas but mostly I worked with the goats and horses. I milked the goats every day and then did cheese with their milk and worked with the horses. After that I traveled around Mexico for a few weeks before coming back home! It was an amazing adventure! I learned lots and I met a lot of amazing people! Super!!!

I'm very into cooking and food so I like cooking for others but I also love learning new recipes. I can give advice on some sports and exercises but also I like to try new sports and adventures!
