About Me

I'm a biologist to be and I simply love that I've found something that inspires me as much as biology does, specially ecology and conservation biology :)
I love Yoga and practice it both physically and spiritually.
I'm Vegan! But not one of the annoying ones ;)
I'm in a relationship for almost 8 years now and I can say that, appart from my mom, I love him the most.
Both of us are moving to Canada for a interchange year july 2015 until august 2016, so I hope to meet a lot of new people! We'll be living in Toronto, and depending on the place we get we maybe hosting :)))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanna meet new people at every place I go in Canada, and why not in Brazil too?
I'm arranging for places to stay in airb&b, but if we can eventually stay somewhere for free it would be awesome!

Interests

Reading, staying outside, conecting to people, visiting new places, discovering, living adventures. I understand the value of routine, but I love to break it!
I also love eating (except for animals :P)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into brazilian popular music from the old days (bossa nova, mpb, tropicália...). I also like internationals, the beatles, pink floyd, beirut, dire straits and all the others I don't know yet.
I love french comedy, dramas, sci-fi... romantic comedy is my guilty pleasure, and I hate horror movies.
About books... Where can I start? Maybe from the begining. I was introduced to big books with Harry Potter, and since then I read almost everything, from Egyptian Mythology, Mistery novels, Lord of the rings, Eragon, and a bunch of fantasy fiction to the books I read more lately, about cooking, evolution, oceanography and novels like Wild, The Luminaires, Far from the Tree, brazilian poetry, hindu phylosophy, and anything interesting enough (dan brown is another guilty pleasure).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every time I camp with my boyfriend and/or friends, and all the amazing opportunities I've had to teach (and learn lots, of course) as tutor of both biology and portuguese.

Teach, Learn, Share

Being joyful, being committed, breathing in love and acceptance.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good talk, laugh, cooking and smiles :)
