Welcome to this small text about a piece of my life. Or at least the way I see it : )

I´m finishing my graduation in Brazil and my big dream is to build an artistic place related to photography. I take photos since I´m 7 years old and my life wouldn't be the same without a camera. Photography plays a really important role in my life and through it I´m able to accept myself (and the world) better. I want to spend my next years saving money and experiences to one day build a place like that.

ABOUT ME

I can be a very quiet person. But that doesn´t mean that I´m not happy or that I don´t like you. I´m just observing things, people and situations. I want to build in my life profound but light relationships with things all over me, and be able to love different kinds of people, not just those who look like me ;) I think this is the first step to become a less selfish person.

I grew up, I was educated and I learned how to live in a one bedroom house, a kitchen and a bathroom. At home it was always me, my mother, my father, my sister and many pets and cats that I kept adopting from the street. There was always space for one more. My life is watered by sharing small spaces with great people. We never had a car or a religion. I believe in the public and I need public spaces to feel alive. Even today I do not know how to live in a big house, I like the cups of curd cheese to drink water, I am a big fan of bread with eggs, of beer and promotion. Tap water never made me sick, I always rode a motorcycle taxi, bike, bus, horses, unicorns..=)

I lived a year in Italy and used this platform a lot to travel and meet new people. But furthermore I believe that CouchSurfing is just a facilitator for this, because it's always possible to meet new and interesting people every day. The great journey is always within us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that our real power as individuals does not rely on money.
Is relies on ourselves, in our capacity to help each other, and to love each other, although we´re so different.
I´m on CouchSurfing because I want to accept people better. I want to see everyone the way we really are - humans. Not engineers, photographers, musicians, an angel or the devil..But a human.
I know that sometimes we have to remove large layers of oppressive civilization to really see the soul of each one. But I guess that this is the challenge :)

Interests

Rice with beans, photography, lying in the hammock and listening to rain, different music, art (painting, dancing), good silences, swimming, sun, coffee and bread on the plate. Recently I see myself more engaged and willing to learn more about solidarity economy, alternative forms of working relationships in capitalism and more sustainable ways too, so I would like to learn more about this and also how to put this into practice.

Cinema, music, veganism and vegetarianism, life with less meat, pop culture, dinners, physical activities, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ayahuasca.

When I was alone for a week without a home, without a bath and only with a backpack depending on the help of others to cleanse me, to sleep, etc. It's the kind of thing that makes me sympathize with beggars to this day. It is not so difficult to lose everything.

When I shared a pizza with a Moroccan girl at a train station I was very hungry, and she told me the whole life story of her.

When I only had 2 euros in my pocket and I paid an ice cream to a beggar. The sparkle in his eyes was sensational.

When I decided to make a house move completely drunk.

When I climbed a mountain that had a basilica right at the top. And when I came down and saw how tall the basilica was, but I had climbed it all on foot.

When I saw my kitten giving birth to her kittens.

Every time I face my biggest fears and insecurities.

I study people's dream (that crazy dreams you have and you don't understand why). I know a little about it.

I'm a photographer, so I can teach a lot about photography, edition, composition.. I love it.

I'm cooking very well recently, I surely can share something about it.
