About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seeing as much as possible of this world!

ABOUT ME

I'm a nice, polite, respectful, easy-going girl, but with a strong personality: I stand for what I believe. I really like meeting people who are open-minded and want to share their interesting experiences, but who also know how to respect differences.
Travelling and therefore meeting different cultures are some of my greatest passions!

PHILOSOPHY

Plan your future a little, don't forget your past, but most of all, live for the present!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm currently travelling around Europe.
I'd love to travel as low-cost as possible (within a safety standard, of course) so that I can save enough money to go to as many places and make as many friends as possible. I've hosted people in my place for a while and now I feel like it's time to couchsurf!

Interests

Travelling, listening to good music, singing, hiking, painting and craftwork, photography, learning languages, going out with friends to bars and nightclubs, going to concerts, talking to interesting people, animals...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rock n'roll, Indie rock. Folk, Sadcore, Blues, Jazz, Alternative, Hiphop (mostly Brazilian artists - I'm glad to introduce them to you), some electronic music, Brazilian music: Samba-de-Raiz, Chorinho, Bossa Nova, MPB ...
Books: mostly fiction novels, like Blindness, A hundred Years of Solitude, Brave New World, High Fidelity, etc.
Movies: From art movies to blockbusters, as long as they're interesting and/or entertaining and have a point for being made - Some examples: Into the Wild, Almost Famous, Wild, Frank, A Single Man, The Help, Wild at Heart, Hurricane, Artificial Intelligence, Fellini 8 1/2, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Toy Story, Monsters Inc., etc.
I think I'm pretty eclectic in general!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Can't name just one...
While in Peru: exploring hidden trails in Valle del Colca, going for a crazy buggy ride in a dune in Ica, watching the sea lions in Islas Ballestras, having an alpaca sneezing right into my face (ewww... disgusting, I know, but it's a one-time experience!)
While in Bolivia: Climbing to the top of Chacaltaya peak, listening to the amazing, purifying, ancient silence while there.
While in Florianópolis, Brazil: walking through a huge dune to discover a beautiful beach by the end of it...
And so many other amazing things! The world truly is a beautiful place worth seeing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to gather information about the places I intend to visit, in order to program myself better. Also, I intend to share my travelling experiences regarding all aspects (like cooking, planning, packing, booking hostels, etc) with other people and make lots of new friends!

What I Can Share with Hosts

How my hosting experiences went, advices for those who will become a host for the first time, etc.
