I was a cancer researcher for many years and now I work as a scientific editor, which is mainly online so gives me time to travel. I try to go away a few times a year. When I'm home I'm busy kayaking, hiking and in the gym.

I competed in impromptu public speaking at the provincial level after winning several rounds of competition at local and city level. I did not win but it was an amazing experience.
