About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Keeping my mind open and living from the heart
ABOUT ME
Presently I'm looking for my next steps. I have a fulfilled life with good friends and an interesting creative job and a close family, but since my children moved out, I feel a little bit like in my twenties. It seems like everything is open and I have to choose, where will I go and what will I do with the "rest of my life". That’s why I want to travel and look around me. I’m really interested in vital matters and ideas and visions of other people and their way of life.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't know, if this is a philosophy, but I think, respect the orders of love is a good thing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In 2011 I travelled through the U.S. from the West coast to the East. It was amazing and I met only wonderful people on my way through 13 States - it's true. Some of them visited me in Berlin.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I feel deeply gratefulness. Couchsurfing belongs to my best travel-experiences in life.
Interests
History and contemporary history. I forget dates but I'm interested in the real life of the people today and in the past.
Cooking and eating and talking together. Yoga and Pilates. Swimming and going for a walk. And I also love to to do nothing. And then something happens - sometimes.
In the last years I learned a lot about family constellation - a real interesting systemic therapy based on Bert Hellinger. And now I 'd like to learn to take better photos and to speak better English, and, maybe, to ride a horse.

Music, Movies, and Books
Bob Dylan - all the years till now. (and lots of others)
I like different movies: from The Godfather to Fried Green Tomatoes, from The Departed to Reality Bites, Bertolucci's 1900 and Sautet's Les choses de la vie and Fargo from the Coen brothers.
Tolstoi, Rilke, Rimbaud or The Sun Also Rises, The Book Thief, The Poisonwood Bible or Siri Huvstedt and Lily Brett, Rita Mae Brown and Diana Gabaldon or Grimm's Fairy Tales and ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In spring of 2007 and 2014 I went the Camino de Santiago - the Way of St. James through Spain - from Saint Jean Pied de Port to Santigo de Compostela: 513 miles only by foot. Twice. I felt like I was at home. And met a lot of really good people. Some are still my friends.
And of course this journey through California, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Illinois, Indiana, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, Massachusetts and New York in summer 2011 - mostly by CS - it was a dream!
