I'm a recently graduated Accounting student currently on a 2 month holiday in the USA/Canada after starting my first job in the field (I have an awesome boss who lets me take long holidays!) So I guess technically now I'm an "Accountant"...but I'm really more of an outdoors-y person having grown up on a farm south of Perth!
I got here in early June and have loved it so much. Travelling and meeting people in other countries so such a fantastic way to spend your time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I actually did some couch surfing with my friend Anneliese in early June when we were road tripping up the west coast of California! I had the best experiences and met some amazing people. I'm on my own now for a little while so thought I would give it a go myself. I've heard all great things from other friends that have done it so would be awesome to meet some more people!

Interests

Playing sport (any sport really) bus especially Tennis and field hockey. I also enjoy watching pretty much any/every sport. Have been getting into baseball since I've been in the states!
I also love hiking, camping, swimming and beer...id like to think I'm a expert but I'm really not!

Music, Movies, and Books

Don't mind the odd book - my fave is an Aussie book called Jasper Jones. I like most music depending on the setting! But especially into indie-pop and chilled rock.
And Finding Dory is my current favourite movie!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing I've done (this trip actually) was hiking in Yosemite National Park and climbing the Half Dome! It was the most spectacular view and definitely the best hike I have ever done!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a wealth of knowledge about Australian slang and the differences between Aussie accents and American accents! I also know a thing or two about farming and agriculture which I think is super interesting! I promise not to bore you with accounting stuff...as there's not much to talk about on the subject anyway!
