I love music. I direct (and sing in) an a cappella group, and I play the ukulele, saxophone, and a little bit of piano. You can usually find me singing as I cook or clean or shower. If you also sing or play an instrument, I probably want to jam with you.

I paint if I can find the time. I generally like building things, exploring new places, and learning.

Music: Mumford & Sons, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, The Script, Arctic Monkeys, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, any barbershop quartets or a cappella. I'll listen to a lot of different things, though.

Movies: Moulin Rouge, Prince of Egypt, The Sound of Music, anything with Audrey Hepburn. I like things that make me laugh or make me cry. I don't watch much TV.

Books: The Great Gatsby, Long Walk to Freedom, Slaughterhouse Five, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

I enjoy classics--anything about ancient Rome or Latin or etymology fascinates me. If you want to chat about what a crackpot Domitian was or mourn Dido's death or hate on French for bastardizing the mother tongue, I'm your girl.
