Heya my name is Caroline from Ireland. I grew up in a beautiful city called Kilkenny and went to the west coast of Ireland to study for three years in a place called Sligo.
I have traveled and lived in a number of different countries over the past ten years. Such as Italy, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Asia.
I worked as an air hostess for three and a half years with Qatar Airways and lived in Doha the capital of Qatar.
I finished my job at the end of September 2014 to see more of our wonderful world. My trip started with one month in the Philippines followed by two months in India. I am now in Argentina and planning on spending a few months checking out South America.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I'm couch surfing mainly to meet locals. I spent most of my time in hostels in the Philippines and India and found I was only meeting fellow backpackers like myself (nothing wrong in this as I also learned a lot from other travelers)!
However I would prefer to experience the culture from the comfort of a locals house!

Interesses

Well the most obvious as you may have guessed is traveling!! I'm also very sporty and love just about any activity. My main sports are snowboarding/skiing, horse riding, downhill mountain biking, kitesurfing, surfing, climbing, trekking, running, swimming and the list goes on!!!!
Wine/beer tasting!!

Im cool with just about any music plus I like our Irish Trad music!
If im reading a book I would prefer a non fiction.
As for movies, comedies and maybe the odd chic flick once in while!!

Mmmm, I think climbing Kilimanjaro for my 30th birthday was one of my most amazing moments, especially when I completed the more challenging route!!
