Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hate feeling like a tourist in a new place. I'd rather see things though the eyes of someone who lives there.

I created my own secret alphabet in primary school and I still remember it today (comes in handy for journaling and not letting people read over your shoulder).

I love learning languages and am a second-language English teacher. I also got a yoga teaching qualification in Nepal and I'm happy to share what I know ^_^

I'm also a baby surfer, so am keen to improve my wave-riding skills =)

I'm always ready to cook/help someone else cook/learn a new recipe.
