I don't like to summarize myself and put myself in a box. Hrm... maybe that might actually be a quite good self-summary ;)

But allright, I'll give you a few words that make me tick: eccentricity, poetry, serendipity, learning by doing, rewilding, dancing, authenticity, music, openness, vulnerability, courage, strength, communication, body language, spirit, reading, humility, choice, hunter, gatherer, tribe, community, movement, change, flow, intuition, wholeness.

I've worked with many different things: in chronological order starting from age 8 I've been retailing apples, selling sausage in a food truck, I've been a waitress, hostess and tourist guide, I've delivered mails and taken care of elders. After a few years in urban planning and strategic management I left the office (for good?) and now find myself busy in property development and small-scale organic farming.

I enjoy being around people but I also love my own time - I don't expect my host to spend all day with me. I appreciate deep conversations as well as the casual small talk.

I love to learn new things and I do that best through people. I'm new to Couchsurfing, although I've been couchsurfing my whole life! I love it!

As I'm usually traveling alone staying with local people is a great way to get to know the culture. I like the feeling of being in a global caring community.

There are so many beautiful places and equally fascinating cultures, languages, people and environments. There is always more to explore and experience, and that's part of what makes life interesting and worthwhile.
