A few of my favorite movies are "Girl, Interrupted" and "Dead Poets Society." As for books, I usually find myself obsessed with whatever the last thing I read was. I'm into Virginia Woolf and Sylvia Plath, love David Sedaris, love poetry of all kinds. My music is a huge, weird melting pot, but here are some of the things I listen to: Simon & Garfunkel, Carole King, Janis Joplin, Dessa, Sylvan Esso, Dan Wilson, Bon Iver, the Decemberists, Gorillaz, Neil Young. Always looking for new books/music suggestions!

Last summer I led a 10 day canoe trip on a river in Wisconsin. It was probably the happiest and simplest 10 days of my life, I can't wait to get back on the river.
