I am a girl, who just happens to love travelling with all my heart. I am about to complete my last year at high school here in Denmark. Two years ago I took a gap year in America (I lived with a lovely host family in New Mexico), where I also met my boyfriend from Norway, who also was an exchange student there at the time. We are still together and we both travel a lot so that we can see each other.
I am very, very fascinated by different cultures and languages and I really want to explore more of it. I would love for anyone to tell me about their culture and language and to teach me as much as possible!
I am also generally a positive and very well behaved person :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since my exchange year, I have been missing the hosting experience. I love talking to locals and learning genuine things about their culture, instead of staying at a hotel and going on guided tours among other tourists all the time, haha.

Interests

I love anything creative and artistic. Skilled, artistic people really fascinate me! I like to draw and paint and make clothes or jewellery.
I also really love to walk. It sounds strange and boring, but walking/hiking is something I will never get bored of. Genius concept, thank you legs.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Lana del Rey, Jack White, Björk, alt-J, and a whole lot more that would take an eternity to list..

Movies: So, so many. But Darren Aronofsky is my favorite director, and I like any movie that can stick with me.

Books: Anything that Chuck Palahniuk has written. He is a genius.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking all day at the Grand Canyon. I can't just mention one: Also visiting Pena Palace in Lisbon, and also deciding to move away to America for a year.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook you food from my home country! Or also just food in general. I can talk to you about travel and life and everything in between. I can definitely teach you about Denmark and teach some language as well, if there's any interest in that. I hope that I can spread some positive energy, even if my cooking fails :)
