Overview
About Me
I'm a college student who is currently studying abroad. I go to school in Seattle, normally, but this year I have been studying abroad. I lived in Ireland for four months, backpacked for a month, and am currently living in the UK. I'm working towards earning my Bachelor's of the Arts in Child Psychology. I love languages, cooking, reading, exploring new cities at leisure, and really experiencing the culture of everywhere I visit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing because I'm currently studying abroad for a year and as I travel I need places to stay! A friend told me about couch surfing and it seemed like such a good way to adventure through all of the places I want to see while make new friends. I used it during my month of backpacking (Winter 2017) and really enjoyed a number of my experiences and am actually still in touch with a few of the hosts I stayed with. I met some great friends and it made backpacking a little less lonely. A nice way to see new places and meet people!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love most all types of music except techno. I like comedy movies, romance, documentaries, etc. I don't watch much TV though. I love to read. Favorite book is probably "Daring Greatly" by Brené Brown, or "Wild" by Cheyrl Strayed. I've brought a bit of a book collection with my this year.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked an 11,000 foot mountain when I was eight. I also got lost in Germany on my way to Copenhagen and still found my way. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach people how to cook, I love to learn languages, though I'm best with written versus spoken, and I love to share books!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some good stories, company, a book to borrow, some good humor, and just a new friend along the way.
