About Me

I just graduated from highschool (Gymnasium) and am planning on studying medicine come october. So I want to see and travel as much as possible until then.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am planning on traveling through eastern Europe with a friend and in my eyes Couchsurfing is a cheap way to travel while meeting amazing new and diverse people.

Interests

I would say my main interests include reading and sports. I love reading about science, history or psychology. If I have time I try reading in french or I read english literature (i.e. Shakespeare) though it might not be as easy of a read as a modern german novel.
If the weather is nice I like going for a run in the vinyards or in the forest, because it clears the mind. I love playing basketball and I'm open to all other sports as well. One of my goals is running a marathon or learning parcours.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not limit myself to liking only one music genre. I listen to almost everything from french rap and hiphop to reggae and jazz and classical music. I play the violin and I like to sing, inspite of not being very good at it :) my favorite movies include classics like "When Harry met Sally" and "Hair" but I love watching comedies and thrillers (James Bond). French movies (i.e. "Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain") might be strange sometimes, but thhat makes them interesting in my eyes.
Due to my interest in philosophy my favorite book is Paulo Coelhos "The Alchemist". I also enjoy thrillers like the Stieg Larsson trilogy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 6 years old my family moved to the United States for three years, where I went to elementary school. I learned to speak english fluently and to adapt quickly to new cultures. Since then I've loved traveling and seeing the world from different perspectives.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bahamas, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
