Im 28 years old, mother of a boy and living in a small village in eastern Germany. As a young girl, I dreamed to travel whole over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, I dont like that "paid-friendly"-culture of a hotel.. I like to see how other people live in their countries and Couchsurfing is so much flexible to plan.

Sight-Seeing, learning about traditions of other countries and open for new friendships and experiences.

Im not interessted in that "thing" like book if its not a travel-guide :D

In 2005, I traveled to the Maldives (Huhaven Fushi) just one and a half year after that Tsunami. We arrived and planed to make holidays...
But instead, we helped out to the builders and we learned much more about the culture, their traditions and we were introduced to their families.
We are still in contact and travel every 2 years to visit them and to live with them about 2-3 weeks.
That was one of the point, I decided to start Couchsurfing then using hotels instead.
