Hi! My name is Caroline and I live on a small island off the coast of Washington state. I am a firefighter, first responder and avid volunteer in my little community. I love to hike, bike, read, garden, draw, and cook good food. I have an intentional mindfulness and yoga/meditation practice and want to always be helping my community.

I am still new to Couchsurfing and want to build my profile. I am currently interested in traveling to Ashland, OR to help with some volunteer service work for a few weeks and am trying to find hosts!

I love folk music. I also grew up Catholic (though I am not Catholic now) and sang in a choir as an adult, so I really love inspirational hymnals that make you happy!

My favorite movie is Willow and my favorite book is Snow Falling On Cedars.

I hiked the coast of Maine solo from Portland to Machias in summer of 2009.
