Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn Arabic and cook Moroccan food
ABOUT ME
I love coffee, cats, and bread. I love trying new things, especially recipes and adventures. Recently I've started running and dabbling in yoga...we shall see how long this lasts!
I am studying Arabic in Morocco currently, and also interning at a non-profit and completing research for my thesis on Moroccan politics and culture. Sometimes I love intellectual and philosophical discussions, and other times I really enjoy watching Hart of Dixie on Netflix.
PHILOSOPHY
It is what it is
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I attend couchsurfing meetings when I can, and have surfed a few times. One day, I hope to live in an apartment where I can host- I really enjoy showing guests around my city. If you're visiting Meknes, I'd love for you to message me so I can show you my favorite juice stand and people-watching spots!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experience was in Turkey with Sinan- it was such an amazing experience that ever since I find it very annoying to have to stay at impersonal hostels. I love getting to meet new people that can show me not only places, but also share their experiences and ideas about the city they are living.
Interests
Books! It's how I "travelled" before I was old enough to actually visit new cities on my own.
