About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Weekend warrior! Spending my spare time travelling around to make sure stuff I read about in books is really true ....
ABOUT ME
I'm 30, my husband/soulmate is 29, and we're trying to pack in as many adventures as possible! I'll be honest, I'm a little neurotic and I like to plan ahead. I'm the girl who makes out a whole itinerary when I go on vacation. But, if things go terribly wrong (and they have) or just unexpectedly, I don't have a hard time throwing out the schedule and just figuring something else out.
I'm kind of a clean freak and you can pretty much bet that I will leave your home even cleaner than I found it. So that's good, but kinda goes along with the neurotic thing.
PHILOSOPHY
Try to accept other people to the greatest extent you can manage. After all, you probably annoy them sometimes, too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am definitely on board with hosting surfers, but I live in Huntsville, Alabama. This city is not on many peoples' bucket list.
BUT, since it's unlikely that many people will seek hospitality from me, I will make every effort to contribute to the couch surfing community by being the most excellent surfer guest of all time and make good ol' southern american food for my hosts!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Heard about couch surfing from my sister, who said this is the coolest community of respectful, warm people! Can't wait to try it out.
Interests
LOVE cooking/baking. I enjoy finding delicious recipes and tweaking them to make the meals more nutritious and healthy.
And my number one interest is my amazing husband. He's the best person I've ever met.

Music, Movies, and Books
Don't judge me, but I love dumb action movies like "Die Hard" and the X-men series.
I think people end up having a lifelong attachment to the music they listened to in high school. For me, Dashboard Confessional, Blink 182, Weezer, Avett Brothers, Postal Service, and Panic at the Disco.
Phantom Tollbooth is my fave book ever.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My husband and I traveled to Rome, Italy when we were in college. We walked all 300-something stairs up to the top of St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City and the view from the top was the most amazing thing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to apply makeup and how to fix hair pretty well. I can also teach American Southern cooking with some wonderful family recipes. My husband can teach computer programming and can fix just about anything.
