For the first time in years, I'm trying to build a life in my homecountry, Belgium.

ABOUT ME

When I was given the opportunity to finish my studies abroad in Ecuador, I took it with both hands. That experience showed me a whole different part of this world and I realized that I only knew a few places of it.

The year after I went backpacking through Chile and another year later I spent 5 months exploring the indonesian islands and Malaysia. Most of it I could effort by working seasons in hotels in Switzerland, France and Canada I absolutely loved it. The months that I spent at home I used to catch up with my friends and for my other passion, teaching!

I recently moved to Ghent, to be able to spend some real time with the people I love. Gotta love this city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my stay in Ecuador, I met some interesting people who showed me around :)
When my boyfriend and I arrived in Chile, we stayed the first days at someone's place before we started our real trip.
In the big cities of Indonesia and Malaysia, we stayed with locals most of the time. I think that's the best way to escape the traffic, the huge buildings etc. and to discover the real beauty of that place.

Interests

I like reading, listening to all kinds of music, practicing sports, being outside for a walk or just to hang out and enjoy the beauty of everything around me and many other things. I love to discover new things and I'm very thankful to everyone who helped/will help me with that.
While traveling I found out that I love to learn other languages and to practice them.

I'd also love to help someone learning a foreign language.
As I'm a teacher, I can talk hours about schools and education of diferent types and with diferent philosophies.
As I just recently moved to Ghent I'd love to explore the city together and show you my favoritd places!
