HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started with Couch Surfer and I love the mutuality of it and the emphasis on hospitality. Unfortunately, I will soon be moving home to a tiny apt with my parents (couch surfing on the way) and won't be able to personally host people. Travelers can certainly stay at my current place after I leave, though (I'm not taking the couch or other residents with me). I will definitely not forget any hospitality shown towards me and will start hosting when I'm able.

I took a bus over the Andes on my way from one coast of the southern cone to the other. About 18 hour trip, I think. Not quite as exciting once we passed the mountains, but HIGHLY recommended. (I also almost had to turn back across the Andes at the boarder of Chile and Argentina because I thought I forgot my visa! Boarder control made me buy them a soda as punishment. No joke.)
