We were living in Wellington, New Zealand, hosting a few people up until July 2014, but we quit our jobs, sold almost everything we owned, and left to travel the world.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When we host, it's to meet new people. When we surf, it's to meet new people, open up itineraries we would have never dreamed of previously, and to have a deeper insight into the area we're in.

兴趣

Marine biology, insects, dancing, classical Indian ballet (mainly Bharatanatyam), playing music (Balkan drumming, classical guitar, tabla, piano), listening to music, watching movies, reading good novels, travelling, eating, learning languages, writing, learning about cultures.

Music:
We listen to a wide range of music so we can't really say, but it's a very huge range of classical, jazz, indie, funk, Balkan, rock and world music.

Books:
Again, so many. Favourite writers are Margaret Atwood, A.S. Byatt, Kazuo Ishiguro, Bill Bryson, Paul Theroux, Jeffrey Eugenides, Fay Weldon, Colin Thubron to name a few.

Movies:
Too many to choose from! We can suggest some good New Zealand flicks though. :)
