Hi. My name is Caroline (or Carol whatever you prefer), i'm twenty and i live in Ghent. i used to study here (criminology) but i quit and started working at H&M as a sales advisor. My true passion is music. i play the guitar and sing, and my stage name is Read Between The Carolines ©And other than that i love to travel, meet new people and see the world. -- Hear the stories, see the views. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For now i'm more the surfing type, mostly because i don't really have couch space.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i don't have a lot of experience, but a friend and myself went to London a few months ago, and it all went very well. except the part where we got lost at 5 in the morning.

Interests

i play music, or listen to music. i love brunch, and watching tv shows/movies, or go for a walk. i don't really read books but i'm trying to change that about myself. other than that, meeting up with friends at the park where we play the Settlers of Catan.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is very wide but i prefer indie, post rock and alternative rock. Favorite band: Tegan and Sara. books are not my cup of tea, for shame i know. but i'm actually a big fan of Kerry Smith's books and i think Jonathan Safran Foer is brilliant. And my favorite movie of all time is Notting Hill. Others who came real close but didn't make it because they lacked the nostalgic factor are Into The Wild, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Love Actually, 500 Days of Summer, Batman, Star Wars, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing a cover of MGMT's Electric Feel on stage and hearing everyone applaud afterwards was probably the biggest rush i've ever felt.
