About Me

CURRENT MISSION

After travelling around Africa, I fell in love with and settled down in Arusha, Tanzania. I've just opened my own safari/tour company. www.abroadabroad.co.uk

ABOUT ME

Easy going, fun loving person who loves meeting new people and making new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to offer my 5 bedroom place up in Arusha, Tanzania. We are at the heart of all the National Parks and mountains in Tanzania. My tour company can offer you a competitive price but still ensuring you have a wonderful experience.

My house is open to couchsurfers, especially those needing a place to stay either side of your safari or mountain trek. I employ experienced, qualified guides who will ensure you will have the adventure of a lifetime.

My house is located in the nicest part of Arusha, in the leafy suburbs of Njiro. It's also very peaceful and quiet with a fantastic vew of Mount Meru through our living room window.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an eclectic taste in music ranging from punk, rock to hip hop!
My most favourite movie is Life of Brian, followed by Airplane.
I have too many favourite books to mention but love a good trhiller/murder/forensics theme.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whilst travelling through the south of Africa, I was fortunate enough to be able to see a leopard resting in a tree whilst its impala kill was hanging in the branches above it.

Equal to that was visiting Ngorongoro. I felt like I was on another planet in my own personal documentary about wildlife in Africa.... what an amazing place that is! See my blog on www.abroadabroad.co.uk

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a 5 bedroomed house of which 3 or 4 are available, depending whether I'm in Arusha or in the UK. I can take a maximum of 5 or 7 guests.
I have a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, 6 seater sofa, wall mounted tv, satellite TV, DVD player and surround sound system.
I have very secure compound with parking available and I employ a night time security guard.
I live in a very safe area and am best friends with a local so between us we are able to help you with any questions and even teach you some swahili if you wish!
