About Me

I am a project coordinator/dancer from Washington, D.C. USA, currently living in Atlanta, GA. I graduated from George Mason University with a B.F.A in Dance. Dance/Choreography are my passions, but I am and have always been in love with film too! I am working on getting into film production and would love to become a production coordinator some day soon! I love to explore and have fun! I promise I'm super sweet and easy-going.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was in Rome nannying/au paring for a month and I made awesome friends through Couchsurfing while I was there. I'd like to visit other cities and countries eventually, and meeting new people and hearing new stories and experiences are my favorite part of travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Rosemary's Baby, The Shining, Pollyanna, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Moonrise Kingdom, The Usual Suspects, Momento, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Goodfellas, Star Wars......Directors: Stanley Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Scorsese, Tarantino

Music: I'm kind of all over the place with music. Alabama Shakes is what I've been vibin with lately...but for my "forever favorites" Jackson 5, MJ, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye...pretty much anything that came out of Motown, The Carpenters, Mamas and Papas, Cher, ABBA, Childish Gambino, City & Colour, Bon Iver....there's just too many so I'll stop here.

Books: I honestly don't read enough so I haven't found a favorite yet...love recommendations though! The last thing I read was Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 5 months in a rural town in Brazil, teaching dance to kids (ages 6-21) in the community. It's something I set as a goal when I was 14 (to go back to where my mom is from, after I graduated college, and spread my love of dance) and it was definitely a big personal achievement. I'd like to do more though. More traveling and more sharing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Portuguese and some dance moves. I'm willing to try and learn anything you're willing to throw at me, and if we're the same size, you can share my closet! I'd also really like to share life stories and good conversation :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm pretty funny, so I can make you laugh or hopefully brighten your day. I'm pretty open and don't shy away from any type of discussion.
