ABOUT ME

During the day i am kept occupied by managing people to make exam papers for school children. My subject is Maths - I did my teaching qualification at cambridge university, and have lived here ever since. Taught for a few years before I gave up the classroom for an office job.

More about me: I prefer pubs to clubs... so you are more likely to find me having a glass of wine chatting to friends in a pub, than downing shots of vodka and dancing in a club.

I love travelling and holidays. I love going to new countries but i don't like aeroplanes. I prefer sun to snow, i prefer a city break to a beach holiday. Did my first full loop of the world last year, wondering when I can go back the other way.

I like tennis, I like cooking, and I like reading. One of my favourite hobbies is walking up mountains - if only for the view at the top. I love long summer evenings, particularly when they include Pimms.

I probably watch too much tv... and i almost certainly drink too much. I gave up smoking 2 years ago - and i am feeling heaps better for it.

I have to motivate myself to visit the gym, but I always feel good afterwards. I used to be a keen runner, and would like to get my fitness back to a good level. I have some way to go....but at least i know what i am aiming for. I'm running my first marathon next September.

I'm happy about life, and like being around other people who are happy.
