CURRENT MISSION
To discover uniquity through ubiquity
ABOUT ME
Hello world,
Ah, the famous ''Tell me about yourself'' - What a perplexing question.
I would consider myself a wanderer slowed by circumstance. For some reason, my friends think I'm funny. I don't know about that, but I find the world full of humour.
I am overwhelmed by the surrounding vastness and by the slow realization that every corner therein is accessible. I seek to enshrine this discovery through experience, and I hope the couch surfing community will allow me to do this most authentically.
For further clarification:
If I were an animal I would be a robin
If I were a color I would be teal
If I could eat one thing forever it would be shrimp
Stranded on a desert island? I relish the thought
PHILOSOPHY
Today is the greatest day in the history of the world
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have yet to formally participate in the couch surfing community, but to extend the question on a more cerebral level, I feel I participate in life by resisting laziness, reciprocating love, forwarding interest, and accepting fate
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Let me be candid, the best (and only) couch surfing experience I've had has been vicarious. The most amazing person I know has spent 7 cumulative weeks travelling through this community and has become even more interesting in the process. Thus, to harken back to my original mission, I must hop on the proverbial bandwagon On The Road: “Nothing behind me, everything ahead of me, as is ever so on the road.”

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Considering I am a self-proclaimed wanderer slowed by circumstance, I have spent the last 3 summers (after gruelling months of education) working full time, polishing up the ever-ominous resumé for the imperative money-making-self-fulfilling ''career''. Inspired by couchsurfing and the fellow wanderers met along the way, friends of mine have shattered this illusion of what constitutes the perfect future. A few months ago, they were nearing the halfway mark of their month-long road trip and were approaching New Orleans. Come down and visit, said they. But I work, said I. That's a shame, said they. The topic was dropped. They were scheduled to arrive there on Friday, and as the day approached I sat at my lonely desk in the lonely hallway at the office of lonely people. Thursday night, I booked a ticket. I hope the invitation still stands, said I. Badass, said they. Less than 24 hours later, I was in Bayou Country, New Orléans, unknowingly about to embark on one of the best adventures of my life. May this never be occasional.
Teach, Learn, Share
Allow me to teach you empathy for this is my greatest quality(and maybe some sweet piano riffs if you're nice). Please teach me to be less afraid. Let us share some laughs, a glass of wine, and stories to shape eachother.
