Hey, I'm Caroline. I'm a junior doctor from the north of England currently working just outside London. I'm easy going and love travelling and meeting new people when I can get any time off work (which isn't always easy)! It's the best way to de-stress!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to couchsurfing but thought it'd be a great way to meet like-minded people who enjoy chilling but are also up for a good time.

I'm always keen to stay in touch with people I've clicked with while travelling - the thought of meeting up again in the future somewhere in the world is exciting!

Interests

I love anything outdoorsy and am a big fan of anywhere where im surrounded by lakes and mountains. I also love a good sunset. I recently went paragliding for the first time in slovenia and loved it! I'm also keen to try out kayaking/canyoning/glacier walking....

I don't do as much reading as I would like but I enjoy live music (although my taste is pretty broad!), love films and am a big fan of photography exhibitions.

Living and working for two months in Papua New Guinea

I recently went to slovenia for the first time which was incredible - definitely one of my new favourite countries

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm definitely an advocate of travelling solo - it makes you learn a lot about yourself, makes you get out of your comfort zone and makes you find yourself in all sorts of situations which you wouldn't necessarily have come across otherwise.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd like to think that I'm a friendly person who is easy to get along with and is good company. I'm very open-minded and always keen for a new adventure..!

It'd be a bonus if anyone I stay with would be up for showing me the best local spots for hiking/wild-swimming/eating/drinking/dancing etc and I'd be more than happy if they wanted to come and join me!
