About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Preparing the lifestyle of my dreams

ABOUT ME

I'm a multicellular organism. For the moment I also don't have any clue about the metaphysical consequences of this statement.

But more specifically, I'm a French female student. I mainly study maths and the oh-so-awesome physics, in Paris. I think I'm a rather social person. What sometimes could appear as shyness is just a tendency to stay calm even when I'm boiling with excitement on the inside. I like talking, debating, exchanging ideas. I'm not the sportsy kind but I like to be always on the move and to discover new places and new people. Yet I also think it's nice sometimes to enjoy a slower pace, help around, sit down, converse and chill with friends. (might be my French side showing up)

PHILOSOPHY

“I believe that a leaf of grass is no less than the journey-work of the stars.”
― Walt Whitman, Leaves of Grass

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had many experiences with exchange programs with school or on my own, in Germany and England, even in China and every time I thought this was an amazing concept. Each host was different, and I've never been disappointed regarding all the things I've been able to share with them.
I've never used Couchsurfing before as such, but I guess it has some similarities right ?

Interests

Photography! I really love the idea of capturing something as ephemeral as a beautiful instant, for eternity.
The Space Programs, Space industry and generally speaking, aeronautical sciences- astrophysics of course also all that's linked to nanotechnology and new materials
I also love art in general. What actually fascinates me the most is the link that exists between science and art.
I'm always ready when it comes to debating, or exchanging ideas, on any subjects : literature, economy, science, travels! anything.
"Only boring people are bored" as they say. :p

I love feeling the wind. I was born in a windy place, next to the sea, and a beach that is almost never crowded and I love vast empty spaces when the air can dance without any obstacle.

Music, Movies, and Books

Muse, Arcade Fire, the Doors, Woodkid, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Red Hot Chili Pepper, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Queen, David Bowie, the Beatles, Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel

Science Fiction : The City and the Stars (Arthur C. Clarke), the Man who fell to Earth, the Foundation Series and other novels of Asimov, The Ice People (René Barjavel) and many others that I can't think of at the moment

Movies : Fight Club, V for Vendetta, the Dead Poet Society...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a rocket launch in French Guiana, I've seen production-line-like weddings on the Great Wall of China, I've seen a sunset from the cockpit of a plane, I've met 70 years-old taxi drivers in Japan... I can't pick one moment over the other. Even breathing could be considered as something amazing in itself.
