Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couchsurfed in Europe, mainly in England, and all were great experiences!

Interests

Food. Definitely food. But not really British food...
Live music, festivals, flamingos, people watching, the night sky, beer, bike rides, tea (thank you, England,) thrifting, Netflix, anything cajun, etc etc.

Movies: all films by Wes Anderson and Hayao Miyzaki. Taxi Driver, Wet Hot American Summer!!!!!! The Graduate, Harold and Maude, Angels in America, A Little Princess, Heathers, Reality Bites, Empire Records, Clueless, Love Actually, Kids, The Squid & the Whale, Pride and Prejudice, The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys etc.

Music: Fleetwood Mac, GIVERS, Flaming Lips, Rilo Kiley, Jenny Lewis (the goddess divine,) Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, Beach House, Feist, Blonde Redhead, Shpongle, Andrew Bird, Joanna Newsom, Beck, Dent May, Neko Case, Animal Collective, Of Montreal, Neutral Milk Hotel, Bjork, Velvet Underground, tUnE-yArDs, etc.

Books: All-time favorites would have to be "Special Topics in Calmaity Physics," and the Harry Potter series (duh.) But I love everything by David Sedaris & Jefferey Eugenides, Ender's Game, some Dave Eggers, Chronicles Part I, Just Kids, Atonement, Middlesex, Lolita, On the Road, The Little Prince, High Fidelity, Ghost World, Never Let Me Go, The Girl in the Flammable Skirt, etc.
