I'm Caroline, and i turned 26.

I just quit my job in communication and event management in Paris (France) a few months ago, and my plan is to travel, have fun and volunteer in Mexico and Latin America for the next year. I'd like to take it slow, preferring to stay in one place longer and really getting to know the place, the culture and the people! That's why I like couchsurfing, that's the perfect way of meeting people while traveling.

I'm easy-going, and would love to know more about the local culture. I love meeting new people and am pretty easy to talk to. My friend say I have an eternal smile on my lips :))

Apart from that, I have a love for theatre and art ! I try to go to an exhibition whenever it's possible. Thus i'd love to know more about South American artists. I’m also hoping to learn Spanish as I travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : indie and world music. Mayra Andrade, el Buho, Bonga, Altin Gun, but also French alternative music, rap, some classic music and opera. I'm open minded in music and like to discover new artists in festivals.
Books : I just finished my first book in Spanish (yeeeah) called Como agua para chocolate, so if you have any other suggestion of easy reading, I would be happy to know ! I love French litterature, but also novels thats really tell about realities in foreign countries, and sometimes thrillers
Films : more independent movies, quite everything except huge action movies !
