About Me
Hi there! I'm a travel enthusiast with a passion for exploring the world and experiencing new cultures. Although I currently live in Dublin, which is known for its chilly climate, I refuse to let that dampen my wanderlust. There's something magical about jetting off to a new destination, feeling the warmth of the sun on my face and immersing myself in the local customs and traditions. Whether it's lounging on a tropical beach or hiking through the mountains, I'm always seeking out new adventures and creating unforgettable memories.
As for my day job, I work for an airline as a crew controller, which allows me to combine my love of travel with my studies in business. I'm constantly inspired by the ever-changing nature of the aviation industry and the opportunities it presents for connecting people across the globe. But beyond my professional life, travel is my true passion. It has taught me so much about myself and the world around me, and I believe that there is no better way to expand one's horizons than by exploring new destinations and embracing new experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I believe that the best way to experience a new place is by connecting with locals. Sure, you can read guidebooks and visit popular tourist attractions, but to really get to know a place, you need to see it through the eyes of the people who live there.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music: I have an eclectic taste, but my favorites are definitely deep house music, classic rock, and MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) from the region where I come from. There's something about the rhythm and energy of house music that just makes me want to dance, and I love the way classic rock captures the spirit of a bygone era. And of course, MPB is a part of my cultural identity and holds a special place in my heart.
When it comes to movies: I'm a big fan of indie films and foreign cinema, but I also love a good classic or action-packed blockbuster. Some of my favorites include V For Vendetta, Fight Club, Trainspotting, Back to the Future, Matrix, Eternal Sunshine and Black Swan. I also enjoy movies that challenge the status quo and tackle social issues, such as Breaking the Taboo and Selma. And of course, who doesn't love a great biopic or music documentary? I'm excited to see Respect: Aretha Franklin and Bohemian Rhapsody are two of my all-time favorites. I love how movies can transport us to different worlds and inspire us to think, feel, and grow.
When it comes to books: I have a diverse taste, but my favorites include Paulo Coelho's spiritual novels, such as The Alchemist. I also enjoy poetry and have a special love for the works of Brazilian poet Cecília Meireles. I love reading biographies and memoirs that give me insight into the lives of extraordinary people, such as Amelia Earhart. The Autobiography of Carolina Maria de Jesus is another powerful memoir that left a lasting impact on me. For a thought-provoking read, I turn to philosophical works like Zaratustra and The Power of Now. And when I'm in the mood for a gripping story, I turn to novels like The Great Gatsby or Anne Frank. But whether it's a classic like William Shakespeare's works, or a contemporary masterpiece like Flight of Eagles, I love how books have the power to transport us to different times and places, expand our minds, and deepen our understanding of the world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done is living in different places and opening my mind to new experiences and perspectives. Each new place I've lived has brought with it a unique set of challenges and opportunities, from learning new languages to adapting to different cultural norms. But through it all, I've come to appreciate the richness and diversity of human experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love catch up about the things I'm passionate about or a skill I've learned through my life experience. And at the same time, I'm always eager to learn from others, to hear their stories, and to discover new perspectives and ideas.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to share my passion for cooking and trying new foods. As someone who enjoys exploring different cuisines and experimenting with new recipes. But perhaps the most important thing I can share with my hosts is simply my curiosity and openness to new experiences. I'm always eager to learn about different cultures, try new things, and engage in meaningful conversations with people from all walks of life.
