Of course it depends on the moment, but writers I always like to read are the brazilian poet Manoel de Barros, the czek Milan Kundera and the chilean Isabel Allende.

There is this great movie I've seen recently (its actually an old one) and really enjoyed: The collor purple. Its beatiful!
