About Me
I'm open minded, friendly and I love to travel, meet new people and experience new cultures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new here, but I've heard from many friends whom had wonderful experiences both hosting and surfing. I think it might be a nice way to meet new people and make new friends.
When I was younger my family used to host foreigners from the Rotary Youth Exchange Program and we've had girls from Germany, USA, Denmark and Canada living with us at different points and each brought a bit of their culture to our household. I lived a year with 3 different families in Denmark and I thought it was very enriching, as I was able to understand better the culture, as well as to meet some awesome folks.
That's sort of what I'm hoping to find in CS. Of course there won't be that much time to get to deeply know hosts nor surfers, but I'm looking forward to learn random facts about other countries, checking how different their habits and food are and mainly understand what makes people around the world so different but yet so common.
Interests
I'm interested in different types of activities such as music, bars, food, hiking, discussing about different subjects and sightseeing in general.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - any thing with a good plot twist or that makes you reconsider the whole thing once you get to the end of it.
music - I listen to pretty much anything when I have company but by myself I prefer some rock or Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) depending on my mood.
books - I've been more of a reader in the past... trying to get back on the track so I'd love suggestions. My favorites right now are the GoT series and First they killed my father (even though it made me cry in public)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
it really depends on your concept of amazing...
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook and experience new flavors so I'd love to learn a bit of your cuisine as well as teach you some of mine. I'd also be pleased to learn the basics of your language and can teach you all you need to know to get around in Portuguese as well as basic Danish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Awesome time (duh!), meals, beers, my points of view about random stuff, stupid jokes...
