About Me
ABOUT ME
I´m an easy going and extrovert person, who loves to meet new people. I love backpacking, I traveled for 404 days on a World Trip in 2013/14, and after that I´ve done shorter trips. This year I'm travelling to Europe with my husband for 3 months.
I love to share experiences, cook, read, chat, laugh, have fun, dance, to lear new things, to go to pubs, and also adventure, nature, cycling, trekking, outdoor activities and to learn about new cultures.
I live in Curitiba, in the south of Brazil, where since 2015 I organize a food tour / bar hopping called Tour de Boteco: https://www.instagram.com/tourdeboteco/ We go to 3 pubs on a walking tour, and in each place we eat local snacks. It´s a great way to meet new people and to have fun.
I also write a travel blog, since 2009: https://www.mochilaotrips.com/
PHILOSOPHY
To try to be the person that I´d like to have always by my side.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I´m going on a 3 months trip to Europe with my husband Guilherme from March to June, I'm hoping to couch a lot during our trip.
I love the idea of CS, sharing experiences with travellers from all around the world is great! That´s why I´ve used it so much during my world trip in 2014.
Btw, I don´t host people for one night only, it´s not time enough to get to know someone.
Also, if you send me a one line request, or a copy and paste one, you´ll receive a negative answer.
If you wanna stay with me, please show me that you read my profile and send me a proper and personalized request (and for more than one night).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just amazing! It´s the best way to have a local experience when you visit a different country, and to feel like travelling when you host someone!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling by myself on a 404 days World Trip
Doing an exaustive but incredible 3 days trekking in Rinjani Volcano in Indonesia.
Playing river weed war with children in Laos, even not speaking a word in the same language.
Drinking cups and cups of tea with the simple and super friendly people in Myanmar.
Couchsurfing in a Carpet Shop inside a cave in Cappadocia.
Going on an eight days amazing (and wet!) trekking to the Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, during the monsoons (and having 51 leeches over me during the trek)!
Diving with huge turtles in Bali.
Learning to hitchhike in Greece, and walking for hours under the summer sun carrying the backpack until I got a ride.
Going to a Gipsy party in Budapest and dancing like crazy.
Eating spicy food with the hands and taking thousands of pics with the locals as if I were a Bollywood star in India.
Making so many awesome friends during the World Trip.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you wanna learn some Portuguese, or even Spanish, I can help you with that. If you speak French, I´d love to practice it with you.
I love to cook, we can do it together or I can prepare some brazilian food for you. I'd love to learn how to prepare a typical food from your country too.
If you comet to Curitiba, maybe you can join me at the the Food Tour / Bar Hopping that I organize here.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook, I can prepare some dishes we eat here in Brazil or we can prepare a meal together. I enjoy going to pubs and parks, we can hangout and share some travel stories. If I have time I can show you around Curitiba - I spend most of my days at home, but as I'm working, I'm not available all the time.
