ABOUT ME

i love music, festivals, hiking, camping, swimming, travelling, climbing rocks and abseiling down them...i find all people interesting and my favourite part of travelling is the amazing array of people you meet along the way :) i have been travelling australia the last couple of years and opening my eyes to the ridiculous amount of diversity in this huge country, and loving it! up next im venturing out to discover the rest of the world :)
i'm easygoing and laidback, yet reliable (and don't have a police record) and tend to take things as they come; i've found the less plans the better for travelling with :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i first heard about it when a friend of mine had a surfer and i just love the idea! since ive been a grateful surfer and also a welcoming host when i can. have met wonderful people and shared many stories, adventures, games of cricket and bowls of noodles.

bungy jumping in cairns; i was terrified, and what a thrill; and the guys gave me the best inspirational chat that i wish they'd written down for future reference.
driving through and flying over the kimberleys, north western australia. such an amazingly beautiful place with a wonderful energy radiating out of the earth... i'm in awe of the place.

teach and learn:
horse riding (though i realise a horse is a bit hard to fit on a couch so as yet im not travelling with one), acrobatics, fire twirling, english.
learn: to play music! drums, guitar... tin whistle?
and languages.
