About Me

Very friendly, hospitable, organized and laid back individual

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to welcome a traveller, as i myself loves to visit other places..as said "do unto others what you want others do unto you"😀😀 it is also nice to learn other cultures and share travel experiences..as they say IT is the best teacher. I also would like to gain network from all over, who knows, in any way or the other, a help will be needed quite inevitably😊 But i also believe in the saying "pay it forward" as i've also been a guest to a number of surfers around the globe.

Currently not hosting as I have moved to the UK. But still happy to talk about my home country should you need any Information.

Happy to walk you around Leicester if you fancy seeing the place :-)

Share travel stories...
Maybe you can try speaking to me in French language (not so fast) so that i can learn better:-)

Some Filipino words to learn:
Thank you - Salamat
"Po" - Use it to add more politeness/respect in the approach esp if addressing someone elderly or in authority (ie Salamat po)
Elderly woman - Addressed as "ate" followed by the name (ie Ate Christina)
Elderly man - Addressed as "kuya" followed by the name (ie Kuya Gerald)
Good morning - Magandang Umaga
Good afternoon - Magandang Tanghali
Good Evening - Magandang Gabi
Hello/How are you? - Kamusta

Manila is the main capital has 3 train stations but all other mode of transport includes jeepney (found only in the philippines), bus, tricycle, regular cabs (not recommended for tourist), grab (more safe for tourist). Doing the public transport is a bit challenging especially on peak hours however it is a nice experience to feel the local way. Along with it, expect to experience heavy traffic anytime on the weekedays and lunch time onwards during the weekend especially when dealing with the main roads (ie EDSA and C5).

Philippines is rich in nature that you can choose an array of things to see from lovely white beaches all over the country (touristy and non touristy), picturesque mountains, volcanoes, caves and refreshing rice fields. Maybe you want as well to experience swimming with the whale sharks and getting underground seeing ship wrecks and the underwater scenery.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give good suggestions about places to see in my beloved country (Philippines). Would love to give tips how and best to travel my country😀 free use of toiletries😊. Maybe i can cook you meal if time permitting. Maybe we can sing together any new international release songs!!😁
