I am Mexican and I just strated my PhD in Oriental Studies at the University of Oxford this fall. I was born in the North of Mexico, grew up in Atlanta, then moved back to Mexico, moved to Egypt and lived some months in Morocco.

I studied Law in the the National University of Mexico and I just recently got my MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the American University in Cairo. I specialize in the study of religious minorities in the Middle East and social movements/ revolutions.

I used to be a bellydancer and did local TV.
I've been in choirs all my life and have sung in some of the best music venues of the countries I have lived in.
