I always find "about me" sections difficult to fill in. A human being is way too complex to be defined in only a few lines. People have different sides to them. Here are a few one mine:

THE GLOBETROTTER
I have visited 30 different countries on 6 continents, and I feel like it's just the beginning. I can't think of a single place that I don't feel like discovering!

THE ADVENTURER
I particularly love hiking, trekking and camping, and those undeniably lead to nice adventures! I'm always up for a challenge, or to go somewhere new... and the more "off the beaten track" the better!

THE ADRENALINE SEAKER
I love adrenaline, so I love extreme sports, anything at any height, from sky-diving to scuba-diving! I'm also a snowboarder back home in Canada. Oh and I once had the chance to drive a Lamborghini on an F1 track - was awesome!

THE ARTIST
I have always been involved with performing arts, mainly acting, dancing and singing, but I love all forms of art! Art is the most beautiful language people can communicate with.

THE OPEN-MINDED
I have had the chance to meet amazing people all over the world, and being open to their ways of living, their religions, their opinions, their traditions, etc, has led me to grow so much as a person.

THE NERD
I was always good in school - yes, I was a nerd - and I think it's because I love learning. No matter what the subject is, you can never know too much. I love teaching what I know and learning what I don't.

THE ANIMAL LOVER
I grew up with animals that were family members. I can sit there for hours observing animals in the wilderness, in their natural habitat. When I get the chance to interact with animals, whether it be a domestic animal or a wild one, it just makes my day, haha!

THE HIPPIE
I guess in the end it all comes down to two simple words: peace and love. Maybe I'm naive, but ins't all the world needs, really? Respect each other and love each other. If I'm naive, I hope I stay naive for the rest of my life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I opened up my account in 2015, after I sold all of my belongings and I left Canada to go explore the world, thinking I would probably use it one day.
I feel like that day is finally here. I just arrived in New Zealand and I am here to settle down. I feel like meeting with locals, making new friends, discovering new people and learning about the lives on people in this beautiful country!
I have stayed at people's houses many times on my travels. Not through CS, but just people I met along the way. Once I have settled down and have my own apartment here in NZ, I feel like it will be my turn to give back to travelers too by becoming a host!
