Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some of my best travel memories are of experiencing the kindness and compassion of locals. I'm looking for more connecting and grounding travel experiences like this on Couchsurfing, but I’m definitely not expecting to be entertained by my hosts/surfers. I’d love a conversation or a hang out here and there, but I understand there’s great experiences to be discovered in solitude too and that everyone has schedules of their own.
