ABOUT ME

I like spontaneity and the unexpected. I like to find beauty everywhere -- photography is becoming a big hobby of mine. Other hobbies include eating, drinking, and socializing, and random exploring is always fun.

I value open-mindedness, individuality, generosity, and eagerness to learn. I enjoy working with art and with kids because they say and do exactly what they want -- so genuine!

I am living in Turkey until December, working at the Turkish Cultural Foundation, at an art gallery in Gölcük, and for Contemporary İstanbul Art Fair 2010.

Then I will return to Madrid for a few days (I studied there two years ago for a few months) and then go back to the US until I can save up enough money to travel again...hope it's soon!

I went to some couchsurfing events in Istanbul and liked the people I met! go couchsurfing :)

I have donated and the postcard will be waiting for me when I return to the US.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have had three successful couchsurf experiences in Turkey- woo hoo! I am an official couchsurfer now.

I love electronic/indie/techno...Look up the Butterfly Bones, they're great. I like Yacht, LCD Soundsystem, Simian Mobile Disco, MIA, La Roux, Duck Sauce, Classixx, anything that makes me want to dance.

Of course I also like handfuls of other musical genres: Manu Chao, Vince Guaraldi, Buena Vista Social Club, Sufjan Stevens, Phantom of the Opera soundtrack
